Fed By Faith exists to fight hunger in Prairie County — one family, one meal, one act of love at a time.
Fed By Faith is a Christ-centered food ministry committed to helping families throughout Prairie County, Arkansas. Through food distributions, volunteers, and community partnerships, we work to meet practical needs while sharing the love of Christ.
Why We Exist
Fed By Faith started in Des Arc with a simple belief: God calls us to take care of our neighbors in their time of need. I believe faith is more than what we say on Sunday. It should be seen in how we love people, how we serve them, and how we respond when someone in our own community is struggling. That's why I started Fed By Faith. My hope is that this ministry will always be a place where people are treated with dignity, compassion, and love—and where our community comes together to take care of one another.
At the end of my life, I don't want to be remembered for what I owned or what I accomplished. I want to be remembered for trying to be as close to the hands and feet of Jesus as I could be this side of Heaven. That's the heart behind Fed By Faith. -John and Lainey Guess

Founder & Executive Director
John founded Fed By Faith in Des Arc, Arkansas, from a simple conviction: we are called to help our neighbors in times of need. His vision is for Fed By Faith to serve Prairie County families with dignity, compassion, and the love of Christ—and to live as close to the hands and feet of Jesus as possible this side of Heaven.
Lainey Guess
Operations Director
Lainey helps lead the day-to-day work of Fed By Faith, supporting food distributions, volunteers, and the many details required to serve Prairie County families. Her heart for people and willingness to serve help keep the ministry moving forward.
